Arasi Nagara Tamil Palli is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to teaching the Tamil language and culture to children in the greater Charlotte, North Carolina area.
We believe that language is the bridge between generations.
Our mission is to provide high-quality Tamil language education while fostering cultural awareness, academic excellence, and community engagement among families in the Charlotte metro area.

Preserving Language, Building Community
Language Proficiency
Structured curriculum covering reading, writing, speaking, and listening across multiple proficiency levels, from beginner to advanced.
Cultural Connection
Students explore Tamil literature, music, art, and traditions through cultural events, competitions, and celebrations.
Academic Recognition
Cognia-accredited. Students earn high school world language credits and qualify for the NC Seal of Biliteracy.

School Founded
A group of dedicated Tamil families in Charlotte came together to establish Arasi Nagara Tamil Palli, starting with a single branch and fewer than 30 students.
Second Branch Opens
Growing demand from families in the southern Charlotte area led to the opening of a second branch, doubling our capacity.
North Branch Established
Responding to the needs of families in the Lake Norman corridor, ANTP opened its third branch in Mooresville.
Cognia Accreditation
ANTP earned accreditation from Cognia, making us one of the few accredited Tamil schools in the United States.
500+ Students Strong
ANTP reached a historic milestone of over 500 enrolled students across all three branches.
